THE OLDER I GET, THE YOUNGER I FEEL!!!
Dose anyone have a swing arm laying around? I need the mesurements for the width at the pivot end of the swing arm?
 
I know it's not exactly the same as your "K" , but '81 "C" model DOHC measures 9 3/4" with the the dust caps installed, mounted in th frame.

I think that's pretty close! I have a new swing arm I'm getting ready to install!
