1980 CM200t build - My first full bike build

Hey all,
Figured I'd post one of these.

Bought a 1980 Honda CM200t for $650. It runs need some minor things to get it road worthy. Want to build a cafe racer on a budget.

So far I've purchased and am eagerly waiting for a new ignition switch (the one in it is shot and so I've jumped the ignition plug to hear it run) and some grips and bar end mirrors.

She already has some parts stripped off and clubman bars on it.

I want to black the whole thing out, maybe swap the tank, possibly to a honda dream tank (what do you all think will it work easily or lots of modifications to get that to fit)

I look forward to any advice you all can give me. I've always been into modding cars and bikes, I've gone as far as pipes and handlebars on a bike before but really want to tear into this thing..

So far the most irritating part I've found is finding 6v directionals and tail lights that I like, I hate the mess of bulky lights on this thing.

Here's the only picture I have, will post more soon.

Thanks!!

ALRIGHT!
Got all the parts in! Gotta start cutting this thinkg up. I adjusted the bars, throttle cable and some routing on the bike the other day. She runs awesome, starts first kick!! Also, moved the gauges around as the previous owner had them mounted horribly and flipped the mount for the choke so it sits lower.

Plan on blacking everything out, making a "brat" seat, tucking all the lights, header wrapping the pipes.

Any help suggestions that you can all give me would be awesome.

Not an expert just here to see where you go with this. You could probably put a bigger tire on just take some measurements. Goodluck
