1980 Honda CX500C

I just picked this up off my local CL for $350. The motor turns over but I think the cam chain and tensioner need to be replaced. What do you guys think? Good deal? Thanks.

If it has a title then its a great deal. Are those the stock bars turned upside down?

Unfortunately there was no title (came out of a barn after god knows how long), but since the bike is not road worthy at the moment that isn't a big issue. I've already looked into getting a valid title and it's pretty straight forward, just a long process. Plus here I can still get plates for it once I get the title process underway.

Oh, and yes. The stock bars had been reversed. I have fixed that already (just see the last pic )

Haha good. I have heard its hard to get titles in some states so good luck! Great find!

I say good deal. I got my '79 Cx500c for $750 a few years ago. It ran GREAT, and had a the title (biggest issue was ugly paint job and original tires still on it), so I didn't need to mess around with it (I did anyway, of course).
