1981 CB750 Dohc "Barbara"

Ok guys this right here is my first project , had a friend that owned a cafe racer and i fell in love with it ever since , so i got on craiglist and got a hold of a 1981 cb750. at first i didnt know about the whole "straight" look on the motorcycle so i got any cb i can get my hand on , so yea got this one , eventually didnt like the frame and started chopping shit up! lol , it should be finish soon. let me know what you think ,anything that would help me, oh yea the name Barbara came from this hot Venezuelan chick i date back when i was 9 back home in the Caribbean, i live in the usa now

right here is when i was debating on weather i should just get a seat and ride orrrrrr start taking shit apart ....of course i went the hard way....so here it beggings

nothing but frame , took me a minute, enginge was heavy as hell so i used a skateboard to put it on lol

thank god i found a shop that my friend introduced me too , which were bery nice people and had lots of patients for rookies like me, so here i got a new tank i found on craiglist

started cutting shit up!!! oh yeaaa thats me hereee lol

chopped off that terrible sub frames , welded something to hold it up just incase

chooping shit up again , and yes that ls me looking cool

got the rear hoop on , looking good so far , at this point i was still learning how to weld so i had one of the guys from the shop do it for me , really nice guy

got my clip ons from dime city cycle , this was a big relief to finally put them on the bike lol , i was tired of using the other one i had

tracing the template on to the sheet metal , and then cutting it up

got my tachometer and made a custom mount for it out of aluminum.

welded it ony triple tree , i went for the solo look , i will close those holes soon
