This is the oldest picture I have of the bike. I bought it from a guy on criagslist for $400, and drove it home 40miles, with falling mirrors, and it kept stalling. It originally had a blue beatup tank on it and the carbs were attached by what looked to be melted cheese.

In that picture U had already upgraded the carbs to the Mikuni VM34's and added that fairing, which broke from vibrations.

Here is it a little farther down the makeover path. I went to chrome front and rear fenders and a two to one exhaust. Also my big purchase was the 750 tank.

I always hated that stock seat. So I started slow by shaving it.
Also at this point I polished the engine side covers and installed the Pamco Ultimate High output ignition coil. I upgraded the side covers to medal and did a little pinstriping.

Here I cut the seat pan and pounded it into the shape I wanted. I even further shaved the seat down. Cut the rear grab bar and mounted a new rear light.

Then I lowered the front shocks using Hugh's lowering kit. I dropped it 3" in the front and 1" in the back and installed new springs in the front forks. I polished and shaved the forks. I polished and shave the top triple tree as well. I was having issues with the 2 to 1 mikesxs.net pipes so they let me exchange them for the stainless headers with the commando mufflers.(I had to pay the difference) Also I installed Hugh's PMA

Eariler this week I re-covered the seat and installed Napoleon bar end mirrors. I orginally had the Emgo mirrors but the actual napoleon mirrors are so far much better quality for the price.

I haven't put the grab strap on yet but it's coming. I also got aluminum signals installed.

This picture shows the finns polished.

One thing I forgot is the Hugh's hydraulic clutch I installed a month or so ago. Hugh is a great guy to buy from, he responds quickly to emails and helps out. Super smooth shifting. Two weeks ago I added the Aluminum racing manifolds from 650central.com, man I feel a little more pull in higher speeds. Mike at 650central is a good guy to deal with.

I bought a mini tach from a DTT member kneedragger74, he hooked me up. I mounted it on the handle bar bolt like I did for my mini speedo but I think i'm going to try to make my own mount out of aluminum. I'd like to get the gauges lower. I'll put up some pics later today.

Monday I had a squeaking sound coming from the mufflers, I noticed that the mounting bolt was lose on one side. So yesterday I pulled out the tools to fix the squeak, only to find out that the metal for the mount had broken off. I just got these mufflers a few months back. Both mufflers had the same problem. A quick weld on both sides and I'm squeak free.
