2 to 1 muffler

anyone know where i can get an affordable 2 into 1 muffler?

I don't think I've ever seen a 2-1 muffler, except on a CL 175/350/360 etc.

Usually the headers have a 2-1 (or 4-1) collector before the muffler.

I think the Mac 2 into 1 has the join in the muffler. Might be a good place to start.

That is correct. I have a Mac 2-1. I heard they are back ordered for the time being. Curious, your sig says you're bike is a 74 550k. Are you looking for the original 4-2 set up? Essentially 2 separate 2-1 pipes? I believe Mac has those as well.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I already discovered the coneeng.com site and am thinking about ordering their collectors. I am asking because the previous owner found some mufflers that have the collector built in and he did a sloppy job of putting them on. it looks like he dropped jb weld on the connection. I still don't know where I want to head with the exhaust on this bike. I'm going for more of the stock look but they stock mufflers don't appeal to me that much.
