2014 Spring Thaw - PRE GAME THREAD

Just found out the auto transmission in Wifes 2006 Subaru Forester, is junk! at 150,000 miles! WTF !?!

$3500.00 PLUS to replace. I am not a satisfied Subaru owner.

ok folks.....I'm officially throwing my hat in the ring. Just reserved a spot down in the campground. Looks like Ard and I will be trucking it down with a couple of dual-sports in tow.

Try and contain your excitement, Jenn.

BTW, I'll make sure we have enough room in the van for that Hillclimb trophy on the return trip.

I'll do the hill climb on my fully dressed R75/6 and embarrass you all. I'll be sipping an espresso on the way up and nibbling on a biscotti on the way back down.

Tim, you offered me the beemer last year for the hill climb, does the offer extend to this year ;)

I will leave Ashland Ky on Thurs evening...... only a couple of hour trip for me. Going to bring my airhead racer and one other bike in a covered trailer. A few of my pals may accompany me. As I said before, refreshments will be available until I run out. I may try to bring several uncooked pizzas from my sister's pizza parlor if I can figure out how to haul them in my truck. I think they can be cooked on the campfire fairly easily. The trailer I am using has a generator (I may have to work on it to get it to run) and I might bring an extra, just in case. So if any of you want to bring your electric guitars I will have a hook-up for you. If my wifey decides to come she will probably cook breakfast pitas while supplies last and if my pal George doesn't bring his giant coffee maker I will borrow it so there will be plenty of coffee. If any of you are interested, please let me know so I can estimate how much to bring. Everything will be free while it lasts ........ One more thing, would someone please tell me the name and phone number of the campground we will be staying at. There must be seven or eight campgrounds in that area. Don' worry Haircutter Girl..... I won't forget your girly drinks ;) ;) ;).

You bet - hoping to arrive with some different rear shocks on it too.

Welp, I bought a bike.. Now to decide risk bringing the RD and spending the entire weekend in the cabin because it breaks or bring the VFR. Im pushing for the later, but it just wont have the same charm as killing the forest with burnt oil.

There's a skylift ???? What the hell I didn't know there was a skylift !

I was reading through the 31 pages of this - anyone heading down from the Cleveland/Akron Ohio area? I saw a couple mentions
