The Mk2 Aprillia belongs to a friend of mine, but it has permanent residence in my garage.
Same for the Mk1, which belongs to my younger brother.
The silver MC21 at the far end is undergoing assembly. Going to do it in Fortuna colors. Will be selling this bike when done, and the funds "laundered" into my Moto Guzzi V50 project.

Holy shit... That collection is worth more than the house I grew up in.

Great stuff man! Thanks for sharing.

Ha thanks Von, not as much as you would think! - This entire lot will swap out for ONE entry level Ducati Super bike!

Ha, yeah, well the fairing you're talking about was the replacement after this little track incident. It promted a complete rebuild of the bike, - it didn't need it, all superficial damage, but it was the excuse I needed!

Drool....!

I so love those Aprilias. Even though I had a race with a guy on one at the TT year before last, and he gave me a very hard time. It was over the mountain section, where power is everything.....yes I could have roasted him easily on the Mountain Mile, but chose to sit behind him and see what he had in the bends. Answer was.....loads ! My R1 was feeling like a cart horse, but I hung on just. Checked my tyres on return to our cottage, and my front was just 22 psi, no wonder it felt like shit !
The guy on the RS blew hell out of his motor at the end of the 7 mile thrash, and pushed all the coolant out onto the road.....he turned out to be a retired ex Manx GP rider, no wonder I struggled.
My oldest son had the 125 Extrema, same colours as the 250 in the picture.......what a bike ! Superb handling, and he saw 110 mph on it ! I followed him on the TT course, and he registered 100 a number of times on my clocks. The engineering is superb, and he rode round the outside of numerous big bikes in the twisties....I love 'em !
I'm too old and fat for them now, but I can still appreciate the little smokers !

Damn... RSA is too far to go to steal bikes. Too bad you don't live closer...

I mean... *ahem* Nice collection!

That's a cool story Titan, and sure, that's where these bikes are superb - around corners. The Aprillia in particular has a subliminally good chassis. Too bad they brokered a deal with Suzuki and have made us live with the RGV motor. Had Aprillia used the Honda motor, and done the magic they did on the RGV, you would pretty much have the perfect 250cc t.s. machine. 100 mph from of the 125 is exceptional.

Wow, so you live on the Isle of Mann? Talk about a lifestyle choice! :)

Sonreir, I don't know what to say to that, other than, if you ever visit here, shoot me a message and we can take the bikes to the track. :)

Thanks dudes! :) two-strokes - can't live with them - cant live without 'em. You know what I mean?

As in, you wrench as much as you ride, even when you don't feel like wrenching!
