360 bob with no name New pics page 8-9

Re: 360 bob with no name New pics page 8

Oh yeah, the tank badges! What diameter are the cutouts? I'm sure we have all kinds of stuff that can get made for them.

How is Miles enjoying that bike? Must be running top notch by now.

Re: 360 bob with no name New pics page 8

I have couple of designs in mind but I'm very open to ideas. I've been wondering where I can get something made. What/where are you thinking? Without measuring its about the size of a soda can. I can measure later today.
Mile's bike is running fantastic but I've not been letting him ride (did a few local runs) because it only had rear brakes. We sorted that out last night so he is pretty stoked.

Re: 360 bob with no name New pics page 8

Aluminum discs are easy to make in any diameter. If you wanted a different color, you could paint the aluminum instead of polishing it. For any designs, Shaun has a vinyl guy that does custom work (also any color).

fantistic information man. Thank you.

Re: 360 bob with no name New pics page 8

Yeah we need a diameter on those badges amigo...
dig the ongoing tinkering Troy, good stuff!

Re: 360 bob with no name New pics page 8

Thanks fellas. I'll grab those measurements asap. On another note Miles and I took the bikes to a local car/bike show today. Even though it rained we had an awesome time. Didnt take Best Of Show but did take home some nice bling

Re: 360 bob with no name New pics page 8

Fan-fucking-tastic, sir. Paint looks great. It still amazes me how great that 400/F looks. Such a steal.

Re: 360 bob with no name New pics page 8

I am more of a cafe guy, but your bike looks killer, especially with the drag bars. Great job man!

Re: 360 bob with no name New pics page 8

Thanks Justin brother. The bars and the paint really brought her back to life for me. I have to admit that I've fallen in love all over again. Its kind of like rediscovering the love I have for my wife of 24 years. So sweet the second time around. Anyhow, the winners of todays show was voted on by the participants themselves so that kind of homage makes it that much sweeter.

Hell Yeah man on the 400. Everytime I think of it I get a smile.

Krayz (and Justin and all my other brothers and sisters) I appreciate the comments so much. Really means the world to me. Thank you so very much!

Oh and the badge measurement is 2.5" I spoke with my buddy jason today and he said he could cut some out of .375 stainless. First thought it might be a little too thick but after thinking about it might give it some substance. There is a girl locally that can cut some stencils from vinyl. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas I'd really appreciate it.

Troy, the bike looks great. I'm really digging the drag bars on your bike. Glad you and Miles got a ride in. =)

Man oh man! Those scooters look awesome! A man, his son, and Hondas. Better than a Hallmark card!!!!!

Beautiful work brother.

least i know i am not the only one riding in the cold! love the new paint! your son's scoot is looking good as well brother!

Wow Troy looks good as usual. I like the color a lot. I agree on the stripe Idea too. Congrats on the ride, I have been riding to work pretty much everyday since William got back to school. He takes the bus. Wish I could come ride with you guys :'( but next years gathering I hope to trailer both bikes and get to ride a little more with you guys in the area. Enjoy the rides until snow flies, I know I will.

Cheers,

Maritime

Ok dumb question for you Troy....are there's screws holes to mount the badges or are they 'glue-on'?

Ok I don't know how to express how much your positive words mean fellas. But I can do nothing but try. To have folk whom I have the deepest respect and admiration for pay some homage to me and my litttle girl leaves me honored and humbled! Really means the world to me and I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. So from one bottom feeder to all yinz, I say THANK YOU!!!!!

Hell yes Joe I won't put her away until the snow starts sticking on the roads. Even then I'll be waiting for the plow. ;D hahaha. I built her to ride so thats the treatment she'll get ;D

Then again I think Maritime gets the hardcore ride king award. I can remember days last year where he rode and I was sitting by the fire. And hell I live way south of him hahaha ::) Anyhow Maritime, I wish you lived closer too man. All of us live too far apart. So why dont we set up a biker city here on the farm!! ;D Speaking of seeing you guys I can't wait for the get together. I have a sneaky feeling the get together is going to start a few days earlier and last a few days longer this year. Make sure to mark your calendars fellas.

Swagg the badges are glue on. I've currently got Kiley working on some art work but if you have something else in mind I'm all ears brother Or even better yet I'd be up for a surprise!! hehe

2.5" brother and if you end up making something I plan to pay you for your services! Gee, I like surprises
