59 Club Merch.

I've been looking for cafe related t-shirts and such lately. Summer may be a long way off, but my dreams of sun are on overdrive.

I've noticed that there are a lot of different people selling "59" patches, but nada in the way of t-shirts. Anyone know why this is? Just curious.

Thanks.

Check Walmart or Old Navy. When I was last there, I saw quite a collection of cafe racer t-shirts selling for $12.99

He's being a dick... Ha.

Look at the site sponsors here. Plenty of great stuff. Also, just Google the "59 club". You'll get your answers. Personally, since I wasn't even thought of in 1959, I avoid such things but that's just me.

LOL!!...wait a sec... Target carries a selection of 59 club t-shirts on sale now for $5.99

Yeah, I'm totally naive. At least I'm not a dick, though. That must suck. ;D

I've looked at the sponsors, and I really like rust revolutions stuff.

My real question was, why there are 59 patches out the arse, but no t-shirts. Just a curiosity if anyone knows.

Why not contact (and join) the 59 club. It is a real club. And yes they have T shirts. If your going to wear their logo, why not give them the your money instead of giving it to someone who is ripping their shit off. Jus' sayin...

I'm aware that the 59 club is a real club, and that they are still currently active. I'm not advocating buying knockoff products, I was curious if anyone knew why the patches were everywhere but the t-shirts were scarce and/or hard to find. Read it as this, why are people ripping of the patches?

Or, better yet, nevermind the whole thing. I'll hang my head in shame for posing a question out of curiosity.

Thanks.

Don't get upset man. Really, nobody is trying to cut ya down. Just a pretty well hashed topic. One that some folks get riled up about.

All in good fun. The 59 club is mythic and has been around forever, hence the proliferation of non-licensed merchandise such as patches and stickers out there. Just ask Noel - he has 59 stickers on his GSXR for some reason and I'm pretty sure he bought them from a Chinese eBay seller :p

Rust Revival (run by Logan / Giant Robot Co.) has some of the coolest designs out there and he's a good guy on top of it. He joined us in Alabama for the annual Mama Tried get together in October and is organizing a get together in Kentucky for this coming May.

Iron & Air (magazine run by some awesome folks) have some great shirts as well.

FWIW I'm not a 59 club member nor do I have any stickers patches or shirts of theirs. I suppose if I lived somewhere that there was a large contingent of members getting together once in a while, I'd join and wear the colors, but I don't.

Wait a second... How'd you know?!!.. :)
Actually I got them on sale from Harbor Freight... 10 for 3 dolla...

I did a post on the history of the 59 Club some where here...

Oh BTW, I am or was a paid card holding member..

Not at all bent out of shape, just didn't know it had been hashed out before. I'm new here.

I agree on the membership thing, it would be a valid choice if it would lead to gatherings of like-minded people. The area I'm in I have only seen three or four other cafe bikes on the road, let alone a club following. I'm just into the bikes personally, but I like to nerd out on the stuff I'm into with t-shirts, posters, etc. I'm decorating my garage via rustrev right now.

I just sewed a 57 Club patch onto my leather jacket! You mean I got the wrong one?!?!

On a serious note, also check out cafe rags. I like his shirts too.
