6 1/4 inch headlight

my 81 xs400 came with a 6 1/4 inch bulb that went bad. anyone know where i can get a replacement bulb i've found 2 complete headlights but cant find a bulb. i'm probably better off at this point just getting a 7 inch. when my headlight went bad i assumed it was a 7 inch and bought a halogen replacement from MikesXS only to find it was too big i've been searching around for a 7 inch bucket without the bulb since i have one but no luck on that and i cant find any good xs650 buckets on ebay yet. any advice would be great.

Look online at hotrod supply shops. A lot of guys use odd size headlights on their cars, and you'd be suprised how much stuff you can find for your bike on some of these sites.
