If he is brazing crank cases together then respect.

But I would still prefer a V8 2600cc Hayabusa engine 8)
 
Way cool. This guy is like some of the builders you see on kneeslider making stuff with hand tools in garages and sheds. Takes some mad skills to do that.
 
Not brazing rod, but aluminum rod - possibly low-temp repair rod - done with gas (acetylene / oxygen or maybe even MAP / ox). How it was done before TIG was invented.
The guy sure is a magician with metal.
BTW, I'm attending a 3 hour "How to Gas Weld Aluminum" workshop next week at the EAA Oshkosh Airshow. I'll let you know how it goes...
