68 CL350 Gas Tank

Im selling an Orange 68 CL350 gas tank. Its pretty clean. No cleaning involved. Its missing badges, cap and petcock. Please just "pm" me for more info and pics. I was gonna keep it possibly another project because its clean, but I need to sell so I can buy more parts for what I'm working on now. Please message me if you have any inquires. Isn't that a CB tank? I didn't think the CL ever had knee pads. I'm pretty sure it just had the single stripe like

Yup, I know, I know. I thought it strange too, but yes it is a CL350 tank. Not a U.S. version. Possibly japanese model.

My roommate's CL also has the knee pad style tank on his CL, and we also thought it was strange, but were assured by the PO that it was indeed the stock tank. Maybe a handful were lucky enough to get the knee pads on the early CL's? Just muddying the waters a little more for you, good luck with your sale!
