I've made a pretty big mess of things. This is a 1968 Yamaha YCS1. The stock wiring harness appears to be intact but the ignition switch that I have is a mystery. The ignition switch is 6 wires (IG/HL/C2/C/S3/SE).
My wiring diagram shows 5 wires connected to the switch (B/C/T/L/A).
I'm not too concerned with color -- only getting the switches wired up correctly. I "thought" it would be a simple matter of plotting out the switch connections/continuity and figuring out what connects where -- so I built a set of tables. 3-position switch, 3 tables below:

Notice how the blue and pink positions are identical? What up with that?? And what to make of black and blue appearing to be pointless?
It's a real head-scratcher but I'd like to make due with this ignition unit as I've already put a big ol' hole in my headlight bucket for it. And I have a key. And it's paid for!
