I left my keys on on my cb125 and the battery is dead now. I was under the impression that I didnt need the battery fully charged if I have a kick start and now my bike wont start. what can I do. Trickle charger? do i get that at Canadian tire?

those 6v battery doesnt seem to keept charge vey well. could it be something else that prevents the bike from starting though? Only thing different since the last start is that I have changed the my muffler - For the exact same one on another cb125.

I kept kicking and it ended up starting. still not holding charge but I guess it's just idling right now. should be fine after I ride for a bit.

First things first...

You need a 6v charger. Should be able to get it online really cheap if you can't find one local.

Secondly, how do you know it's not holding a charge? It needs to be fully charged to determine that.

CB's are loading the battery @4000rpm and up. Letting her run at idle won't do the battery any good. Fill her up and hit it. The engine is able to load the battery but needs to be above 4000rpm to do so.
After 40 minutes your battery should be full enough to spin the starter.

It's not THE way to do it, as VonYinzer already told you, but this'll work and you can check the battery when you get home.
