I found a cheap seatcover for a '70 CB350, and was wondering if any one had experience with various seats for various years. I have a 72 CL350, and I am kind of making a large assumption that the CL would fit the CB, and that there is little difference between the 70 and the 72. Can anyone verify this?
Don't quote me on this but I seem to recall reading about someone here on DTT having to modify their CL seat to fit a CB cover or visa versa. Seems the tanks are longer on one than the other so the seat is shorter on one, not sure which one though.

I don't see why CB and CL seats wouldn't be interchangeable. The tanks use the same mounts. But they need to be of the same style, early seats were hinged at the back with a front latch, second gen was side hinged with a latch lock and last gen was side hinged with a plunger lock. So a 68 CB or CL seat won't fit a 73 CB or CL. But same year CBs and CLs are swappable.
That's what I was afraid of, thanks. The one I was looking at was for a CB up to a '71. I guess I could try to recover it myself as well. Time to look at some vinyl I think.
