71 cb350 twin shifter shaft seal?

No, you don't need tear down the motor to replace this seal. Pry it out with a screwdriver and press in the new seal with a nylon or rubber mallet.

You want to use a piece of pipe just a bit smaller than the diameter of the new seal to drive it into place - make sure it is as close to the same size as possible. This will ensure even pressure putting the new seal in. Otherwise just work it in slowly going around the perimeter of the seal. Use a wooden dowel or something to press it into place (hitting the dowel with a hammer lightly).

If you can't get the old one out easily, you can drive a small long screw into the seal (not too far) and pull it out with pliers.

well if your taking the old seal out isn't worth replacing it???

since your taking it out it doesn't matter how much you damage it.

When you put it back in use the old one to push against and protect the new one.

You're wasting your time by replacing an old seal with another old seal. The part is still available from Honda. Part: 91206-286-013 OIL SEAL (14X28X7) (ARAI) (Honda Code 0153270), around $3.
