WAS running when I bought it three years ago. It then sat in storage for another two years before finding its' way into my living room last winter, to be cleaned-up and gone-through.
CLEAN Illinois title, in MY name. Carbs have been taken apart & cleaned (they'll need to be synced). Has spark (new plugs and battery). Has compression. Just needs gas, & a strong leg (kick-start ONLY, but NOS starter motors are still available for old CB's). Many mods to this bike. Carbs have been jetted, and was told, by the former owner, that the engine comes from a speed shop in Ohio. No gauges, headlight and taillight only, Dunstall drop bars, cafe seat, rearsets (needs a rear brake linkage fabricated), rear shocks, new fork seals, K&N rechargeable air filters, heat wrapped 2 to 1 exhaust w/ 2-stroke muffler from J.C.Whitney (should be nice and loud), new grips & NEW TIRES!
***That's ALL I know about the bike***
-I've never ridden it.
-I haven't had it running since pulling the carbs.
-It is currently "dry" (no gas, because I cleaned out the tank & petcock when I did the carbs), but it does have fresh oil (Castrol GTX 10W40).
