72' Honda cb 175

I picked up a 1972 Honda CB 175 today. Its in darn good shape. I plan on doing a mild to moderate brat-style build. I will probably go with a low profile seat with a brat-style type upholstery. For the handle bars I am most likely going to put some drag or enduro bars with bar end mirrors and waffle style grips. I also plan to pick up a small low profile tail light and plate bracket. As far as the exhaust goes, I kind of like the trumpet type mufflers so I might keep them. Check out the pics and throw me some ideas and suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Nice bike! I know these aren't speed demons but how does it ride? I'm looking at grabbing a 125 or 250 as a cheap 2nd bike for 2up riding

from what I can tell I rides and handles very well. I just got it though and have had minimal riding time, just a few hot laps around the lot.

You really grabbed a nice little bike there !
And the things you plan on it should do the transformation.
Another thing I might suggest is to shorten the frontfender, you can use the original for that just make it small and minimalistic =)

have fun with it ;)

@buckeyebike: You have a sexy CL there!

You might also consider the "M" style bars- they are often overlooked but pretty cool. I just ran across a 7/8" set on ebay. I had them on my Bonneville and loved them.

;D
