'73 CB350F speedometer needs repair

First thing you could do is cross your fingers, lube the cable, pull the speedo, hold it upside down and put a couple drops of oil into it where the cable mounts. Remount, uncross your fingers, and see what happens.

Second would likely be to pick up a used one on Ebay or the local yard, unless you feel up to trying to rebuild the one you've got. Taking it to a shop will cost more than getting another. It's likely not the drive -- in my experience they either work or they don't, but I'm happy to be told I'm wrong if someone knows otherwise). The drive is a simple mechanism.

I've probably got one you can have off a 400f.
It's not as nice as the one you've got now though.

Good news! The speedometer is finally fixed, sorry I took so long to update. Also, the taillight foot-switch was giving me trouble, but that just needed to be adjusted. Props to Barry for the repairs! I completed my road test today, so I just have to wait for SOS to open tomorrow, and I'll finally have my license! Feels pretty good :)
