74 cb125 stator swap compatibility - 12v conversion

my friend pulled a 70's era 350 stator and tried to pop it on my 74 cb125... a fit i've seen referenced in multiple places. he said the crankshafts are different sizes. Anyone know definitively which 12v honda stators bolt into the small 6v bikes?

FYI, he tried to pop in the magnet too. you obviously don't need to do that, the coil just bolts in.

Yeah so far so good, he was just confused- as well documented elsewhere, the 360 stator bolts right in. used a cm400 regulator/rectified. i haven't swapped the coil/condenser yet, but am going to because stuff started melting when i was messing around with the ignition on.
