Very cool! How does it handle? What size on them tires?

It handle's okay, havent noticed that much of a difference in the turns.

I had to put a new set of forks in it, the old one's were rusted and pitted. if you look close
you can see the forks were droped 2" so it rides stiffer in the front, I'am not to happy about that.

Nice! I take it from the Fuel Cafe sticker that you're from Milwaukee?
Yep I'am from the Milwaukee area. I credit the Fuel Cafe, Rockerbox, and this site, Do The Ton for
getting me back in to motorcycles.

I like the look of those fatty chunky tires, they compliment a nice looking bike.

You know, I really have no clue about bobber-style tires like that. are they car tires? bike specific? are they worth a damn at all in the turns???

Just curious. The bike does look sweet.

Can't be stock-sized rims......and did you need any mods to your suspension, swing arm, brakes?? How does she roll????? looks 8)

Nice bike! Can't wait to see what you do with it.

Dude, Wow that bike is mint !!!, Nice score.

I wish I had a before pic on my cb750, I picked it up in Pontiac,IL, it hasn't ran in 15 years. The
rims and spokes were rusted, had an old Vetter fairing on it, everthing was froze up on it, inside
the fuel bowels on the carbs the old gas turned to black tar.

Did you run those tires on stock rims or did you get larger rims?

The front rim is a stock 18" rear rim, the tire size is 450/18" Firestone Deluxe Champions.
The bike handles good I'am not afraid to dive in the turns, the front brake is weak I need to improve it
any suggetions?

Joe

that seat is so smooth... matches the lines of your tank perfectly! and those firestones give it an aggressive look
