76 CB360t $4000 obo tons of extras

I have lots, I'll rent'm out but ya gotta buy your own ammo....
And no surplus crap....really gunks up the barrel

I thought bikes had to be from england to be overpriced junk ill buy it if you can prove it was in a famous movie like star wars fuck ill double your asking price one documented pic of a ewalk bent over that thing and its 8 large think about it

sold the bike keyboard mechanics...$4000 sits in socal right now thanks a ton...get it. theres a buyer for everything. 1 kick bike thats unique got what he wanted. maybe if u slobs spent more time tinkering with bikes instead of keyboards and spreadin the hate you can get top $ for your rides.

doubt nothing now a days. shitty economy and all $4000 cash with out a hesitation from a buyer on here

oh btw it sold off my ebay listing from a mmber who was following it on here. has been sold since the 1st week of jan but didnt think to post on here cuz all you guys get riled up at the first sign of domething "off the wall" tires to big, shock in "wrong spot" get bent that customizing fools. lmao this is bound to get panties in a bundle

I call BS. Maybe it makes you feel better to say it sold? Either way, I doubt anybody from DTT would pay that much for a bike.

And I agree with Jojah - the bike looked cool, but not 4 grand cool.

I think everybody is acting a bit childish, grow up fellas, let the guy do whatever the hell he wants with HIS damn bike, in the end its nobodies business.
Like you wouldn't sell your bike if someone offered you 4-5k for it.
Congratulations on the sale man.

Now nobody go startin a war with me lol
I spoke my opinion just like yall did.
I come in peace lol.

Eh, fuck him. Somehow I don't think we'll be seeing anymore of him.

I don't know Mike, everybody rode him pretty hard right off the bat and it seems just because he was asking more than we'd like to pay. market is changing boys, get used to it. I bought my first Triumph, a beautiful 1970 Tr6 in near mint condition from the original owner in 1987 and paid $600. couldn't touch it for $5K now. Our Jap bikes are going to start to get expensive.

I just sold my CB200 for $3200 and have been told I left a grand on the table so take note.

Tattooed - Congrats and good luck.

I believe those tires are Shinko 705's and they look like shit on that bike IMO.

out

i think most people on here got riled up because it's a ridiculous asking price for a bike that's had, at most, a basic mechanical go through and shoddy work on the rest of it, not to mention no consideration whatsoever as to the handling of the bike after the thoughtless modifications... it's probably a good thing that it will likely never really be ridden, because anyone pushing the bike even remotely hard will probably crash it

postscript... just relooked at the picture and am loving the tall shocks and dropped forks, with stock offset of course... I wonder if the builder knows what a speed wobble is, because the buyer sure as shit will

Agreed.

The lighting in the pics is what gets me!

I bet if you just raise the front end back it improve not just the handling but the look as well.

Easy guys.....
He built a bike he liked and was able to sell it to someone who wanted it. It's kinda neat looking and I think we're all in agreement that there are areas we think need further development. That doesn't change the fact he accomplished what he set out to do.

I'll have to go,back and look but I can't remember anything standing out as particularly shoddy. Let's not turn into that other joint just because someone's build doesn't look like WE think it should. Be envious (or heartened perhaps) that he did....

So lets see if I have this right. Bike was listed with no reserve and with a buy it now price of $3400. Someone was "watching" it on eBay but did not use the buy it now option. He then offers the seller $4000 AFTER the seller ends the auction early? Sorry, I just don't buy it.

I think it went a little more like this:

No one bid on the bike because it ain't worth much more than $1000. I'm sure some people were watching it and were ready to swoop in a bid $1200 - $1500 at the last second but the egotistical seller couldn't bear to see his "masterpeice" sell for that low so he ended the auction early.

I doubt anyone even contacted him afterward to make him an offer on it.

It's like any cafe bike on here. A polished turd. Just so happens this one wasn't so polished.

I personally hate to see the Jap bike market go up that much. These are bike that any average joe could pick up and tinker around with and make it his own. Look at the XS650 market these days I bought my 78 5 years ago complete for 300 bucks....try finding that these days. When i got into bikes you could pick up a running Triumph for a grand, you can't touch a basket for that these days.

Its just like everything else though. I had a 66 Chevelle convertible that I bought in college in 1988? I think. paid $2200 for it. That was a good deal then, I realize that. They were going for $6K-$8K or so. They go for over $50K now. things get older they get more valuable. The only thing we have going for us is that there are still tons of these bikes out there to be found.
