'76 cb360t fuel line dumb newbie question

hello all! i think my question may be too dumb or obvious to even find an answer. i have done multiple searches for fuel line configuration, fuel line fittings, image searches and looked through fuel line discussions on here to no avail, and the image in the manual (a downloaded one is too fuzzy to tell). my fuel petcock (not sure if original style) has two nipples (main and reserve), and i'm trying to figure out if i need like a "y" fitting to join the two lines together > to fuel filter > to tee fitting > branching off to each of the carbs (2 of em).
anyone have a pic, link, or just a point in the right direction? any help will be appreciated. thanks!

I know on both my CB450 and my Yamaha R5, the fuel petcock has 2 outlets, one goes to each carb. I would assume your 360 is the same. Have you turned the fuel on to see what happens? Im sure if you turn it on, fuel will run out of both

yeah man the petcock draws from the tank into the bowl and then out to the two lines the petcock switches from main to reserve and just draws from a lower tube into the same bowl and out the same 2 lines. there is no such thing as a stupid question. now you know. Its what teddpage said one outlet to one carb and dont worry if they don't flow at the same time. Sometimes you have to have the one plugged for the other to start flowing the carbs will do that for you.

ahhh, thanks y'all! i guess not a dumb question as much as so simplistic that i couldn't find any discussion on it. there was a tee fitting with lines going to the carbs that was obviously rigged up by the previous owner but no fuel petcock so i was trying to fill in the gap, and it kind of took me down the wrong path. that makes sense, though, that fuel comes from both outlets and thus can go to each individual carb. thanks for the clarity!

Gotta love PO's hacks! np, that's why we're here for.
