hi milehigh, wow this bike is amazing!!!! love everything about it!!!!

i have recently bought a cj360 myself with the intention of cafe'ing it... i wondered if you could help without with some suggestions?

in particular the seat and cowling you have! i am looking at something similar to yours or just using the seat with the shaped padding as a cowl to...

i havnt decided on which one fully yet but, what was the make you used for it? also did you have to mod it to fit to the bike in anyway?

anyways hope you can help me out!!! also many thanks on sharing your great bike!!!

I got my seat and seat pan from Cafeseat.com...they were pretty quick and I actually love the quality. I had the upholstery done locally by some south of the border dudes...they kicked ass and the price was right. I did have to do a lot of chopping on the frame to get it to fit like i wanted it...ended up sitting over 6'' lower than stock. Makes for some nice lowered center of gravity and increased control. The CJ is a great bike--despite what anyone might tell you. Sorry for the delayed response--i was on my honeymoon. The only other advise i would offer on a fresh cj is to keep it simple--limit your colors to 3 (main, accent and black)...and your bike won't look too busy. Thanks for the kind words and good luck with your build!

I have to say, I wasn't a huge fan of the first look, and I was weary about the bare tank.

I really like what you've done, though. The current product looks great, is functional, and I'd imagine fun as hell.

I love my CJ. I put many trouble free miles on it last summer/fall, and can't wait to get back to work on it in a few weeks. They are indeed great bikes.

Happy friday suckas!!!

So, i finally found a bit of time to snap some nice shots of Elvira. I think I am done tinkering for now. She came together better than I expected. Was considering a belly pan at some point, but thats just an idea and it might be kinda tough with the stock exhaust configuration. Once again, thank everyone for all the help and advice, I'd still be riding around on an ugly old wench if not for you.
