They're rare, but not sought after. I've got one as well. I see them on CL every now and again, in running condition and <u>decent</u> cosmetic shape for around $1k. And they tend to sit there for a while. Yours looks really clean. Nice score.
The front drum, lack of electric start and general lack of knowing what they're looking at turns most casual riders away from them.
Love 'em, but they're apparently not too "collectable".
Here is mine before I tore it down for rebuild, but after a decent amount of work to get it running and looking nice.
Ahh...my first streetbike. Terrible brakes and that deadly collector.
The best thing you can do besides making sure your top end is oiling well...is to ditch the factory 2-1 for ANY other pipes. If you ground that collector out in a corner...and you will if you carve at all it can launch you rather violently. Swap a disc front end and put her on a diet and you're golden! I wish I still had my first one.....
