When my bike get warmed up it starts to backfire a bit out the left pod on the carbs. I took the boots off this weekend and noticed that the boots are a bit dry and cracked on the motor end of them. I searched online this weekend for a bit looking for new a new set of carb boots, but i cant find any for my year/model. On one website when i went to the 78 cb750f part for the boots it said that Honda discontinued making those boots... So, does anyone know where I can get some carb boots, or if any other year will work on my bike. I have seen a few different places selling 79-82 or so cb750f boots, and they look similar in the pictures but its hard to tell just from the picture if they will work on my bike as well.
If someone could point me in the right direction i would greatly appreciate it. replacing the boots and stopping the air leak is the last thing i really need to do in order to have my bike up and running strong.
Look on EBAY. I saw a guy selling some. Cant remember who or the link. Do a search for CB750F carb boots. Try honda carb boots and look at all of them.

Thanks, I will give them a shot later on when i get off work.
I had read on some forum about Plasti-dip coating them with the spray on stuff. Since I dont really have much to lose I think i will give that a try, supposedly with 8 to 10 coats it seals it up nicely. I will give it a shot this weekend and see how it goes.
Are they Keihins? Why can't you use regular cb750 boots? Backfiring doesn't sound like a carb leak issue-I'd check plug condition and make sure the carbs were cleaned across.
