Hey everyone,
New guy here from MD. I just Got my new baby this month its a 1979 CB650 although the last owner got her on the right track I cant wait to tweak her into my own.
I started by dropping the headlamp and gauges about an inch and a half and installed clubman bars. the clubmans lasted one long ride and now have been replaced with a super low rise motocross bar.

future plans.
Swap front signals for bullets
Polish out the comstar wheels (I was going to go with spokes but these are growing on me)
New seat upholstery
Replace rear shocks
Over the winter its going to into paint just to fix a small dent on the tank and a scuff on the tail. Im also going to change the graphics on the tank. currently it has a skull with cross skateboards and wile it looks cool I'm no skater.

Those look great I did the sides of the engine on my CB650 and I can really appreciate what you did there and how much time you have in them!

I really couldn't tell you but I just about finished the forks this week and I have about 10hrs in those.
I am thinking about taking on the wheels over the winter, that's going to be a hell of a job.

Not sure if there are any Jeep guys around here but here is the bike with my other addiction. His Name is frank and he likes rocks.

I DIG THE LOW PROFILE MOTOCROSS HANDLE BARS. I'M STILL NEW AND HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I PLAN ON SLAPPING ON MY '73 CB450 BUT I'VE BEEN LEANING TOWARD THE MX BARS

I like the motocross bars I've gotten in some good ride time since I switched them and they are way more comfortable than the clubmens

Keeping it. The paint is going to stay the same I'm just going to get rid of the skulls which are unfortunately under the clear and also the number plate is on the tail is covering a big scuff where the previous owner dropped it.
