Well. There has been a problem with the charging system since day one of owning this machine. Found out after all this time my generator brush holder is cracked in half. Anyone know where I can just get this part instead of a whole new stator? Please help me. :'(

If its a clean break, try cleaning it up with some rubbing alcohol and epoxy glue it back together.

They are still available from Honda 16 Euros ($12) but make sure you get the right one they change after serial number 2004082.

Thanks. It's not a fixable job. It is causing the brush to move out of place. I may try to remedy something for the time being.

I ordered my new brush base today. Should be in by the end of the week. And it was $20 from Honda Canada. Thanks for the help. Cheers!!

I have just about had it with this bike. I start it (as long as it has a full charge on the battery) and I run it. It is a bit shitty sounding with a lack of power. When I shut it down the battery level drops a tiny bit then when I try to start it again it goes down to 8-9volts with zero activity from the bike. Not even a click. I have to trickle charge it again just to start it.
Aslo if I am riding it loses power and I have to head home or I'll be pushing. Any ideas guys?

I see you no longer have the stock battery, what did you replace it with and is it man enough to do the job? These motors need a good battery to spin them over.
Also sounds like its not getting charged back up either so I would thoroughly check your charging system. This could also be causing the lack of power but you wot know for sure until you get the battery and charging sorted.

I have a Ballistic 8 cell. It has worked for me before. The whole charging system has been checked and mostly new.
