I am having an issueissues with my cam chain tensioner not coming out of the head. I'll start by saying that the tensioner lock bolt snapped when I tried to remove it.... which seemed weird. I drilled the bolt out and am currently planning on using a helicoil to fix the threads. I am also going to have to do something to re-engineer the bolt and oil seal on the adjustment bolt.
All that said, the bolt is drilled out and the tensioner won't slide out of the slot. Like, it won't budge at all with heat and a pry bar. Am I completely missing something here? It looks simple enough, but I could just be wrong here... or it might just be hat stuck. It almost seems like the slide is glued in place, I'm just hoping that's not the case.
Is there anything I should be looking out for?
