I've been fussing with my carbos for about a week now and can't get them to run without my choke on. With the choke on it runs smooth but rich obviously, choke off it backfires and doesn't make any power. They're mikuni bs34s with pods and open exhaust. I've cleaned them very thoroughly a few times and replaced o-rings and gaskets. Still nothing.
I'm really just looking for a starting point on rejetting. Pilot size? Main size? Needle setting? I understand that with the air box outta the picture I need to jet up, like I said, just looking for an idea of where to start.

Any help is greatly appreciated as I am trying to ride to the rockers reunion tomorrow!

What jets are stock and what do you have on-hand? I would try 2 sizes up on the mains and shim the needle with a small washer.

I know I'm running 110 mains but not sure what pilots. My needle is adjustable and is currently set to the middle position.
