Yes, he was!

After short new year break, I returned to workshop. Cx has got new brake discs from EuroSport spec. Now it’s time for new callipers.I'm wondering from which I could use.

you will need to confirm the mounting brackets

now mind you all these are dual piston calipers for awesome breaking your bike was built with single pot ones so if you want

those they are way easier to find

here are a pair that should have the correct mounts message the seller and confirm the center to center space on

your fork leg bolt holes

that's a great deal on two calipers..

oh yes, nice bold color choice on the tank..

Wow, very clean build. cant wait to see the finishing touches.

Can I ask how you mounted the rear hugger to the swingarm? did you go straight through? I was about to weld some vertical mounting tabs onto mine this weekend, but I think I like the way you have done it better.

Thanks in advance.

Not Sure how it's called the English - blind rivet nut?

Ive always know them as either rivnuts or nutserts.

Loving this. Keep it up dude.

I'm starting to look for a cx500 to replace my current bike, so really appreciate the great shots of the work you're doing.

In case of a first project, everything is absulutely new and you have to deal with problems that you’ve never been familiar with. If it comes to my project, I came to the point which seemed to be a night walk through the forest with my eyes closed. Wiring from scratch – what a task! I found some wiring diagrams on the net – at first, they looked like a maze! However, after spending some time studying them, I found a little light at the end of a dark tunnel. I took red felt-tip pen and started connecting lines and dots. Finally, the diagram for my own Hona CX 500 cafe racer project was ready and I could go to the garage to make the plan come true. At the moment, wiring is almost finished and It came out that it was a piece of cake and nothing to be afraid of – but you never know unless you try it yourself.
