Kinda the point. You see them everywhere. Here, bikes shows, stupid (and not so stupid) blogs... I was building the same bike everyone else does while telling myself it was different.

I can dig it. I do that all of the time. Once you step back or travel away for work and come back to the ideas they seem a little stale sometimes.

Exactly. I like the chop as it is. It's cool and all, but this summer alone I've seen a dozen of them in person that look almost the same. At a local bike show a buddy pointed at one and said "change the paint and that's your bike, down to the stickers on the battery box". He was spot on. I don't have the money or skills to build something completely off the wall but I'd at least like to be able to say I tried to stray from the norm.
