Just got this shot from Sean at Roc City....

I like it.

flatcurve:
Thanks, brother. Sean now has a wood buck to fit our frames.

bluefalcon:
Be careful about sohc exhaust, they are too short for the dohc's taller engine.

Actually I believe he makes it for the dohc as well, just thought it was a unique design, but I digress. Back to your build.

Oh, that is cool. I like it, too.

okay, screw retirement... I need to start funneling money into the build fund for one of these. How long did it take, overall?

That gives me a couple months to scrape up the funds. I've got about 6 months before the next riding season. (Friggin' Chicago weather)

That was me. I work in Arlington Heights and live in Morton Grove (next to Niles & Skokie.) The plan is to have my 750 done by next April.

Ha! Grew up in Arlington Heights (childhood, that is). Brad, that tank is excellent. Wow! Sorry to hear about Benjies. I hate making mistakes that cost me money-and I have made a few on my DOHC project! I had considered buying a Benjie's tank but don't really have anything in the budget for something like that...

"Almost" finished with my build.
Waiting on SCTA to give me permanent numbers for this August.

Until then, here is the bike:

Took over 2 years.
Touched every nut, bolt, spoke.
Built, not bought.
