as she sits now. Bandit 1200 suspension swap front and rear. I went with the RSU forks for the vintage look. Splurged on the ohlins rear shocks. Motowerks GP exhaust. stage 3 dyno jet kit. Dyna S iginition and KOSO gauge. Paint is next
Very nice! Always loved the gs1100. Great motor. I have a moto gp werks exhaust for a kz1000 project that I have yet to run, in your last pic it looks like the header has turned very dark, or is that just the pic?
it has darkened up some. started to go gold then just got darker. actually not as bad as in the pictures. BUT, I will say that the sound it makes is just plain awesome. Old superbike sound to perfection.
always loved the the Cooley livery; well done. all you need is the right bikini fairing and i think this might be one of the coolest GS1100's i have seen. 8)
Maier makes a decent fairing for cheap that looks a lot like the ELR fairing, or there is the ZRX fairing which is a bit bigger. I don't know if the 1980 Katana Fairing appeals to you but i think if you trimmed it WAY down to a fork mounted fairing it would look effin amazing! ... the katana body work is basically gs1100E body work but with a fairing and a chunk missing out of the side
