Hi! Just found this site and after scrolling pages up and down for about 4 hours now I guess i should take a dip the sea of informationsharing. Quite alot of inspireing projects on this site! Im on my second build after finishing a -89 yamaha fzx 750 last summer. Im now working on a -85 suzuki gsxr 750 witch have drawn some influence from different cafe racer projects.. I guess it could never be a real cafe, but with some elements.

Im not an educated mechanic so I often stumble in to problems and it seems like you good people are more then happy to share youre knowledge on this forum so i might just ask you politely when the next issue surfaces..

Nice to meet you!

Ole

Glad to see there was something cool under all that ugly. The Fazer was way to good a bike too look the way it did stock...
I've gotta say, even though it's an "early" rocket, the Gixxer is probably more of a street-fighter than cafe racer...

Welcome to the ton man ! Really like the rides and the Gixxer is close maybe larger round head light say 7 inch ? Spoked wheel never hurts anyone but Mr.backpocket lol Maybe few other small cues like say 60s/70s Suks colors ? Just me thinking or is it typeing out load ? Anyways looking forward to see what yo do ;D

Cool fightered out FZR.
For my money, I think you've got a great basis for a cafe-inspired ride in that gixxer. Plus I like the modern suspension + wheels!
