Yes I did, I got pictures too. I just neglected to post them. Sorry, my A.D.D. kicking in again. I have the pics on my home pc and I'll post them tonight.
Problem is, it will definitely need to occupy some space that is currently occupied by my seat. Would you mind throwing a tape on it and measuring the distance in the pic so I know just how far I'd need to trim my seatpan?
How deep is that mount tab that sticks off the back?
The dimensions look good, but I think that tab off the back is gonna put a hitch in my get-a-long; I think I'd wanna mount the tank Norton style, with a SS strap. Can that tab be removed without comprising the integrity of the tank, or can you cast a new tank sans tab?
Also, I'm gonna need enough room on the backbone between the tank and head tube to weld on a tab to use as the strap mount, kinda like how this one is done:
I can't quite make out from the pics how much room there is to work with; could you maybe grab a close up pic of that area?
No problem at all. I can build the tank w/o the tab and I'll get you some pics of the neck area. If you're using the strap you can move the tank forward or back to fit however you want. Are you still wanting the original style rubber tank mount holders on the tank channel since you will be using a strap?
Measure the length of your factory tank and send me some pics of your frame with the tank off. I think it's the same frame as the CB900. If it is we are currently working on some tank bottoms to fit that frame.

It looks like the only one that we have that is close to the stock length and is wide enough for that style frame is our manx tank. A couple of bad pics on the cb900 (same frame):
Here is our Featherbed tank on the cb900 (a little bit longer than the manx):
We are currently working on the bottoms to fit this frame and hope to have our plugs/molds done soon.
