I wish I had some of the talent that is displayed on this forum. Excellent pieces. What do you think you'll be charging?

We're still working on our price point, but we want to make this stuff so affordable that anyone can buy our products. We have lots of options to put our stuff within price ranges that everyone can afford. We just want everyone to enjoy working on motorcycles as much as we do. I'm not trying to get rich doing this, I just want to supplement some of my wife's lost income (new baby) and build as many bad ass bikes as I can in my spare time. Still working on the web site but here is the address: http://gagewerke.intuitwebsites.com/
Very rough still but will soon have all of our product pictures and measurements listed.

Very nice stuff!!! Id love to get my hands on a cr tank for my CB350, but airtechs $500+ pricetags a bit much for my budget...

Very nice... I'll be trying my hand at making a tank in the near future, so I'll probably bug the hell out of you with questions when I get started. That titan tank is excellent. Is it for a single backbone?

Bug away, I'm happy to answer any of your questions. Nothing I'm doing is super secret. I'm still learning the tricks and tips myself. Thanks on the titan. It is for a single back bone, will fit the cb750 for sure, so probably lots of other bikes too.

By the way all our stuff has a lifetime parts and labor warranty. If our customers aren't happy we aren't happy. We coat the interior of our tanks with modern epoxy after the parts are built but that can't guarantee 100% ethanol proof. We are working on getting a distributorship with a company that makes "ethanol proof" coatings and we are still in the testing phase. We can coat the tanks for you with this product, you can buy the coating from us and coat them yourselves, or buy the tank un-coated and use what ever product you want. Also these tanks are not DOT approved so use at your own risk, we assume no liability for on-road use.

We offer all of our parts in gel coat, black glass (looks just like carbon but without the cost), and Carbon Fiber.

Ya, if you come out with a CR style tank/seat for the 350 like Airtech has, i'll certainly start putting away a bit every paycheck!!!!

does anyone make CR style metal tanks for the cb350? I love that shape, but glass just isnt practical..

Bob Hansen Honda carries the CR tank in aluminum, not 100% sure if it will fit the 350 though. If 450 tanks will fit the 350 then it will.

just a couple cents here... it seems that no matter how well sealed a vinyl or polyester tank is, gas always finds a way... I just had that experience with a tank I build 2 years ago, using vinyl ester, not polyester, (still sealed with epoxy) and it still got eaten... my verdict is to build the tank with epoxy, something good like west, or PTM&W, which is known to hold up to fuel on it's own, then coat the thing twice with sealer. I just found a really good one from bill hirsch auto, much thicker and tougher than the por or caswell stuff. so, it's better to price what you need to in order to use the best materials than underprice and run into trouble later on...

We offer a lifetime guarantee on parts and labor. If one of our tanks leaks at any point ever due to parts and labor (including degridation from ethanol fuels) we will repair or replace them. I believe the process that I am using will prevent this from happening.
