Joe, I'll be coming from the Detroit area, but that'd mean you'd have to ride with my broke-down '78 1100 ass. Bring a tow rope.

You got it Maritime. Thanks for the kind words. Can't wait to see ya again.
Mothgils I couldn't agree more. Winter is always hard on me both physically and emotionally. Probably has a lot to do with the holidays too. Anyhow this place always gave me a place to come where the people are real. That was confirmed at both GTGs. I also agree about the comments about this being a close circle group. It does take time to build friendships but most everyone here is receptive and open. If that were not true Kiley and myself would never have offered an open invite and open our doors to everyone and their families. All were welcome with open arms and will be no different this year. I sincerely hope you and all the other members here can make it this year. I promise a time you'll never forget! Everyone is invited folks

Damn guys there were 8 responses to this thread during the time it took me to type this...

HAHA, this year is going to be classic. I'm definitely come for the whole stretch. One day just wasn't enough last time.

Vespas can be cool (in a pinch). We were heading for France and the Triton's mag took a dump so we grabbed the Vespa.

Heh....man did that video bring back good memories!
Troy and Kiley, it does indeed take courage in this day and age to open your home and lives to people. I still think people are generally good in nature and the time I had with all of you helped confirm that for me. I was not exaggerating in the least when i said that it was a privilege, I am a richer man for having met you all and i look forward to doing it again this year. Might even have a bike ready for myself for once...

I too would look a little funny on a scooter but I can't think of a better place than a neat European city to flog one!

i like to take Duche bag photos whenever i can... what better chance...
cause i am typically so Sophisticated

Thanks man, and that means a lot. To be honest, this thread in particular has really made me realize how much I just wish we all lived within 30 minutes of eachother. I've come to the conclusion that I am pretty alienated around here, and it really can get to me just being by myself and stuck inside of my own head. I have relied on DTT for a while now as an oasis from that and a little bit of an escape to a world that I wish were the way things really were in real life. I think about the kinship and the brotherhood that I have shared with so many of you, and the overall selfless nature of things around here. I think that the world at large could use a healthy dose of "lend a helping hand" and the daily vitamin sulpliment of a venue of expression. Like has been said many times in this post, I refuse to watch the pseudo utopian society made real by this forum and you guys fade into something more superficial and meaningless, and thanks to all of you who posted, I realize that it is far from being there. It's really good to read this stuff fellas....really good.

Wish I lived closer to ya. I'd sure as hell be tapping what knowledge you have in your noggin! I love your bike.

Swagger I want to formally apologize for be an inebriated dumbass yesterday. And to everyone else who had to read my stupid statements.

It's all good mate and just goes to show the quality of people we have here.
I hope you do stick around too, I think that combo upper shock mount on your mono-XS650 is golden!
