Wish I had one of those decoder rings. Where can I get one? or maybe just use spell check.

Thanks

Very nice! The ergonomics look very comfortable. I bet it's a joy to ride.

Did the Ton and a hundred flawless miles. Here's a pic with my riding buddies ZRX the color similarity is totally coincidence.

Thanks much appreciated considering the source of the compliments. I'm quite proud with how it tuned out. Took way too long and cost way too much. Did a couple XV's, just can't get my head around the wide V engine and the shaft. Plenty of good buys on the first gen's. I'm still a great fan of the XS650's. I did a roadster version with a XS750 tank and seat, might go that route again, kind of a Sport Touring version. It really depends on getting a cheap functional donor bike. Any suggestions???, Beach

How are you finding that hotwing seat? Did it come with any mounting instructions/kit or was that left up to you? How did you mount it? I've got an OIF seat on order from them so keen to get some advice from someone who's got one.

The seat came with no instructions or mounting tabs. I used well plugs with aluminum channel on the base screwed them and glassed them in place then inserted expanding well plugs secured with bolts through the bottom. When I get my computer back I can post some pics.

Okay.....I guess I'll understand when I see the pics lol. I was thinking of using the universal seat mounting kit from Legendary.

Pretty sraight forward. Swapped the left to the right side ans left to the right. Drilled a hole for an alignment pin or a bolt to prevent them form swiveling. USed a shift lever from a Yamaha Virgao or a XS400 Seca. Can't remember witch, but nearly any linkage type shifter will work. Drilled and mounted a 1/2" rod as a pivot for the shiter and connected with some sperical ball joints and a pice of linkage. FOr the Brake I heated and bent the lever and repositioned it on the spline to ake it level.

Everything can be bought used and cheap on SleaseBay. I can take some close up oics if you'd like. And if you need any specific help getting them mounted or which parts will work. Let em know. I have some odd ball ens and lickage if you need them
