OR, snitch a park bench to put on there and take some friends riding!

Nope. Girder forks, single cylinder. Pipe looks more like a Brooklands can than a Velocette fishtail but it's hard to see form that angle.

Back in the day, there were a few bike carrying sidecars around to pickup customer bikes or as race transport. They were hard enough to ride with a bike on the platform and evil when empty.

This is for the Ohio folks. In the early 80s I was going from Cleveland to Columbus on I-71. I passed a guy riding a BMW probably a mid 60s R 60. It was fitted with a sidecar frame which was converted to hold a dirt bike which looked like an early 70's Suzuki 250. All this and he was towing an aluminum boat and trailer behind the bike.

Guy the bought my first GL1000 said he rebuilt his house hauling lumber on his shoulder on a GoldWing. Small towns are full of such examples. We had a family with two cars - one ran but had no brakes, the other had brakes but didn't run. I think you can figure how that story goes.

If you've ever had a 'sorted' outfit, it's probably the most fun you will ever have with your clothes on.

Hmmm, back in the early '80s, huh? Guess it couldn't have been @Hurco550 then. (and in the early '80s I was in Germany so it wasn't me either.)

Probably 83 or 84, I was on my way to the Bean Blossom Boogie. Have you ever seen the Burt's Bee ad with Burt on his BMW? The guy looked like Burt! Maybe it was him.

Perhaps one of us should receive a stinging rebuke.
