A video walk around of my 350.....

Been Around the Block
Just a little walk around of my CB350 I thought I'd share here too. I use the bike pretty well EVERY day so it definitely isn't a show bike. As I always say, I'm not talented enough for show bikes anyway.

The bike isn't finished, there is still loads to do but, this video gives a good idea of where it sits now. First build for me so, I'm having a blast with it. The bike is getting all the things I enjoy and like. Can't really put it into one specific category I don't think. It's got bits from all "styles". Doesn't matter - I'm diggin' it 8)

It's coming around. Gonna paint the tank and run cable next I think.

........although my wife was hinting at an "in-house" job - new trim!! What a PITA that is! ;)

Very nice! Did the tank come stock like that, or did you strip it and polish it?

The tank? The tank was that colour when I purchased the bike. It is painted in that colour. After some work on the bike, I believe it's original colour was actually green as there are still traces of the OEM colour hidden here and there. Not the cool olive green many of the K4's had but that tacky (in my opinion) green many 350's had earlier on.

The tank is actually the focus of my next major (to me) undertaking. I'll be painting it. Just STILL struggling with colour. I think I've come to the conclusion of a dark grey (graphite dark silver) with a black, shaped, stipe on the side of the tank.

We'll see.

Thanks for the kind words. My bike is basically a bunch of small changes that all add up to make a big cosmetic change. My later stages will involve some more major cuts. That's much later though. I'm loving the thing as is right now. :) I'm not NEARLY as talented as many of the folks on this site, so, any kind words I get means a lot. Makes me want to keep the changes coming. Not everyone has to like it, but, the occasional comments here and there pump you up for sure.

Cheers.
