Accelerator Pump is leaking on Honda '78 CB750F

1978 CB750F-Coming along nicely!
So I took the carbs off and cleaned them up a bit using the Clymer's Handbook. Everything looked pretty spotless inside and I'm sure the previous owner cleaned them up a bit. There's a couple of problems now.

1. The choke spring is unwound so when I pull on the choke lever the butterfly valves don't close at all. I'm pretty sure I have to take the carbs off and wind up the spring again. Haven't had time yet but I'll give it a shot soon.

2. The accelerator pump is leaking around the edges. It never did that before and now my dumbass probably screwed it up. Well, I've ordered new acc. pump diaphragm and parts so hopefully that should do the trick but I've also been reading up that a lot of people are missing an o-ring that might cause this leakage? Well, I looked online and ordered the o-ring as well so I'll be taking these babies apart, cleaning them up, and installing the new parts soon.

BTW, has anyone ever ordered from www.VintageCB750.com ? I ordered the parts last week and still haven't received tracking or shipping info via email. I need these parts soon!

That's odd, I've ordered tons of stuff from them and the shipping has always been top notch. Try emailing them and see if maybe the order didn't process right.

Done and Done! Email sent and awaiting response. I need to start riding soon! I'm definitely feeling the itch!

Did you order from www.vintagecb750.com or www.cb750supply.com? I'm pretty sure www.vintagecb750.com is the Canadian version of the same company - not that you can't order from them if you're in the US, but it might explain why it's taking a bit longer, as the stuff has to cross the border. I think their sister site has their warehouse south of the border.

I ordered it off of www.vintagecb750.com. That makes sense since their in canada but the weird thing is that they haven't even shipped it yet. The status just says "shipping". No tracking number as of yet and no response to my email. Well, I'll give it another couple of days.

I would just call them. They're Canadian so I'm sure they're friendly. You probably want to order future stuff off the US site, as I remember the pricing being lower as well. And that's just the parts... shipping is most likely cheaper as well.
