Advice on cafe taillight.

I think that dual one looks good, gives you a place to mount the license plate as well which is nice. You may wanna check if you have to have a light on your license plate though for the state you live in. I am pretty positive here in NC that you have to have a white light lighting up your license plate, the red from the tail light isnt acceptable. thats what I was told several times at a few different motorcycle shops when I was going to do a rear fender eliminator on my old bike. they said the bike wouldnt pass inspection without the light on the plate. something you may want to look into before buying your taillight.

Thats the one that I bought with the white led's that shine on the license plate if it is a requirement in your state.

You're right. here its like that as well. We need a light on the plate. And what did they told you about removing your rear fendfer, is it acceptable?

Can you post up a pic of the space you are trying to fill with a light?... or the area where you want to put the light on to?..

an integrated turn/brake light is always very cool...

nice..

yeah.. that one on ebay will work but you may need a resistor pluged in to make the LEDs work properly...

Check out the tail-lights at:
http://www.kapscomoto.com/

some of the lights there are pretty cool...

They didnt say that I couldnt remove the fender when i mentioned what i was going to do, they all just stressed the light on the plate, so i am guessing its alright. and they also mentioned that they turn signals had to be spaced from the taillight because i was originally looking at getting one of those all-in-one led units where the tail light blinks on each side for turn signals, and they said that that wouldnt pass inspection either.

Not with indicators in them, just the license plate light (clear / white) and the stop / tail (red).

Don't know if this is much help but couldn't you put on a brake/run light and use hand signals...[flash=200,200]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zKQv2dc-cM[/flash]
