Aftermarket blinkers '72 CL350

Hey everyone, thanks for viewing my post.

So I got this bike not long ago and the blinkers come on, but don't blink. I'm planning to change the blinkers tomorrow, but wanted to ask about this issue before I get into it. I know it's probably a problem with the relay, and the fact that I'm using led as opposed to a bulb. I picked up a 552 flasher, thinking I could use it to fix the problem.

My question is if and how should I use the new flasher to replace the old relay, or is there a different way to solve this problem?

Thanks again.

New relay is the way to go if you've swapped to LEDs. I doubt a 552 will work though. I'm pretty sure that's a thermal one and not an electronic "no load" flasher. We sell the kind you need from our website for $8.

Sort of. You usually need to remove the turn signal indicator light from the dash or hook up some diode if you want to keep it.
