Aftermarket custom throttle.....what cable?

"pillow talk" 73' Honda CL450
I fitted a aftermarket custom throttle but my stock OEM 73' cl450 2-1 cable doesnt fit. :'( what can i do? anyone sell custom length cables or sell them to fit. I would just need the single cable that goes into the double pull.
Thanks

I'm not sure what throttle you are talking about, but when I ditched the stock throttle (2 cables +start and kill switches) on my '78 cb400 for a motion pro throttle with 1 cable and no electrics (moved everything to the bucket anyways) I just went to the local bicycle shop and had them make me a brake cable in the length I needed. the end that was suposed to fit the bicycle brake leaver fits the motion pro throttle sleave perfectly and the cable works great; not to mention it cost me less then $10.

i just bought this exact throttle for my cb500t. here's what i found...

-the stock cable adjuster's threads are too large to fit the hole of the aftermarket throttle
-when demel-ed out the cheesy potmetal fell to pieces
-it cracked in half when tightening it to the bar, and the only reason i tightened it as much as i did was because it was still moving/spinning with the plastic tube

the first two points could have been delt with by putting a different upper throttle cable in. but there's no getting around how terrible the quality is in reference to the metal itself. get what you pay for, and a $20 throttle gets you nowhere.

i drilled mine out without a problem, i even drilled out the original mount screws because i lost a screw and they are a weird size i couldnt find anywhere and no problems, but i used a drill bit and not a dremel. id still like to get a nicer throttle but it works and it was cheap and thats what this build was about. when i have money thats not being spent on my race car or bills then ill upgrade.
