Almost finished out of the box CM400t *VERY pic heavy*

Crusader

I have no clue what I'm doing. :D
I was lucky enough to find a deal of a lifetime on a completely restored beauty that runs like a champ. Theres a few more mods I plan on doing so heres my build thread. I plan to lose the airbox, get some pods, and jet the carbs (I know it sucks to do on a CM400..any help on that would be great). I also want to do a lithium battery somewhere under the seat and relocate the starter button and highbeam switch (just clean it up). Every time I look at it I think of something I want to do...Maybe a new seat/cowling some day. If theres any questions on the specs let me know.

Anyway here are some pics:

I love that seat/cowl/tail light setup. Looks really good on there.

I keep getting compliments on the seat but I also keep finding myself wanting to put a more "cafe" style seat and tank on it...but I'm also a little terrified of jumping in to some pretty serious mods.

I'm digging the tail light to. Is it just brake light or blinkers to? Any idea what brand it is?

Thanks, the bracket and lights are custom. The two cat eyes are just brake lights and there is actually 2 little blinkers off the the sides of the brake lights. You just can't see them in the pictures.

Nice clean build, you can do the CM with Pods, but buy good ones, uni or K&N and it will take some tweaking and plug chops to get it right.

only thing i would change is move that rear cowl a little forward and that would mean re doing the seat. other than that she is perfect.

Which means you can't see them on the road either :-\

back from the dead! :p

very nice bike though. that seat is the tits, i need the gf her own damn bike so i can go solo seat

I know this is a little out of date but, how well does the foot brake work with the footpeg mounted to the passenger footpeg mount and the brake lever at stock length? Seems to me that that set up would be unsafe
