Alright I'm stumped! Someone help.

Why would you think that doing it "by ear" would some how be better then what the Honda engineers wanted?

Think if it as SOHC character. When you hear it later on another bike, you'll say to yourself "ahh, I know that sound!" even before you see the bike.

my cb350 chatters. I too thought I was bad, but then i check the gaps and they were spot on. Just another quirky characteristic of these bikes.

EYHONDA, good stuff. Very informative, and you make it sound so simple, which it becomes after you have done it twenty times. :)

Alright I'm stumped! Someone help.

Figured out the tapping my gaps were off web though I checked them like 5 times.
Set the float heights and it's been running like a champ since, but today it started happening again.
Now I'm REALLY stumped.
I set the float height even lower to try to alleviate and that didn't help.
It runs okay till it gets hot then it only runs okay at high rpms.
Any ideas on that one?

Alright I'm stumped! Someone help.

Coils seem okay.
How do I check condenser?
I am getting a lot of sparking at the points

Goal is spark at the plugs....
When was the last time the bike was treated to plugs, points and condenser?
Again step by step in the manual
The order of things when tuning is important

Alright I'm stumped! Someone help.

New points, new plugs, new condenser still same issue.

Coils are fine as I switched them and it acted exactly the same, left cylinder runs fine right cylinder won't run except at high rpm.

Float heights are spot on.

I'm thinking the right carb may just be trashed. I don't visually see anything Wong with it, but I do remember when cleaning that the right carb mixture screw circuit passed a lot less air than the left.

So does anyone have a set of cb350 carbs?

Alright I'm stumped! Someone help.

I'm thinking I'll switch the carbs tomorrow and see what happens.

Other than the obvious choke lever etc anyone see any real problems with that? (just for testing)
