alternative battery for xs650

EXCELLENT THANKS FOR THE REPLY.
I am looking to see if I can pick one up. I never had a stock battery box or side covers for my tx. so I made one and the problem is I run stock battery. the vibration is such the battery is riding up and I can feel it against bottom of seat pan. I have it in snug but, no strap on it. I have the covers over terminals so no urgent issue but I need to address this SO I was going to redesign the battery box and a smaller battery with same out put is what I am looking for. little pricey but it's a gel battery so I think it's worth the money

any luck finding one of the shorai batteries?
I just checked the two links on the thread and saw they're both out of stock. Wouldn't mind picking one up if I could find one around that price range.

I ordered one from nice cycle they did not say anywhere on there site they were back logged 1 month. I think it's kind of sneaky but, it's how they do business. Anyway I ended up ordering a gel battery from cycle gear $103 I will eventually get a shoari when i have the extra dough it was $147 from nice cycle.
the only thing is with the gel I am going to have to do something about the winter time. Gel batteries will freeze and crack. I might just have to look into some other options. but the new battery will be here tomorrow. it's little smaller than stock and only little over on cranking amps but should be fine for my xs. I have run a stock battery 12v in my vespa for a while without any issue. the only reason I decided to give it a try.
