AMA Vintage Days

Has anyone been to the AMA vintage Days in Mid ohio? The event is in 2 weeks, how does it compare to Barber if you have been to both? Who's going?
 
Mid Ohio has a HUGE swap meet compared to Barbers. But Barbers has the museum......so it's really about what you're looking for. I went to Mid Ohio for the first time last year, and went to Barbers for the past couple years. I'd like to go to both every year now....
 
Off the top of my head - I'll be there, as will bradj, VonYinzer, DreadRock, and JustinLonghorn.

Exactly why you shouldn't go to Mid-Ohio

I sadly will not be there this year unless a miracle happens and I score $400 bucks for gas money between now and then and I can skip my sons 10th b-day without making him sad. Is it woth going, hell yes if you like old bikes, beers and like minded folks. There is usually a huge contingent of DTT folks there.
 
Swap should be even better this year as VD was moved up a week and won't be competing with the Wauseon event . . . fingers crossed for better weather this year as last year was a monsoon.
 
Ha last year Walmart couldve charged 50 bucks for rain coats and they still wouldve sold out
 
I think there will be less racers.
There is an event at NJMP that weekend, so the east coast guys are doing that.

Swap meet is normally fun.
Standard comical prices on non titled parts bikes, a few "built" bikes that make me laugh.....
Mostly I dig for parts. I have had great luck so far.

Should have my 1100f there.

Anyone going out for huge beers and steak?
 
As stated above, there will be a small crew of us headed over. If anyone wants to meet up for a beer or needs an extra set of eyes searching the swap... PM me your number and I'll text ya when we get there. Or whatever. :)
 
We got two camping spots and plan on staying all weekend. Bikes, beer, food. Should be a ton of fun. I'll let you know where were at once we get set up so you can stop in and have a beer.

have fun ya jersks. I have been without power since early Saturday, I am currently in McD's using the only wifi available to send this. Can't even get into my office building because it is all electric locks and the 24 hr battery died sunday night sometime.
 
I may be there Saturday.
I'll be back up in Pittsburgh visiting the in-laws, so if I can get a day pass from my social director I'll pop over...
